ANSTAM and PHON.O come up with this split 10inch on 50Weapons/Monkeytown. 50Weapons' latest features a cut a piece from the clandestine duo and like minded digital beat mangler PHON.O, both delivering typically complex and expertly sculpted dancefloor structures. To date, the tight-lipped Anstam have only revealed themselves through three incredible singles released on their self-titled imprint between 2007-2009. Albert follows their lead with more blocks of concrete beats and lurking synths arranged into uniquely aerodynamic syncopations practically on a par with T++ or Ae. PHON.O matches those hi-end production values on IL62, shaping a spaciously dubbed-out and robustly techy swinger with grazed beats and detailed atmospheric depth.
